Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The DHTML menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\



Q: My slide drop down menu appears at the top of the page rather than in the cell in which I placed it

A: You're using absolute position for the menu now:

  var absolutePos=1;

You should use the relative position:

  var absolutePos=0;



Q: I didn't specify link for the item, but the problem is the mouse cursorchanges to a hand, when the item of the web navigation bar (not link) is mouse over.

A: Unfortunately there is no way to change cursor for items with links and without links.

You can try to use <a> tag inside the text field:

["<a href="http://domain.com/index.html">test</a>","",""]

Q: I am using Deluxe-menu 3.0.

I can add dhtml popup menu items and submenu items. Each new sub menu item is placed at the bottom of that list. How can I move it up in the listing.

For instance if my menus are:

2007
2006
2005
2004

and I add 2008 - it will be placed below 2004, but I want it at the top of the list. Each item in the list has multiple subitems, so I don't want to delete the other items to get it in the correct order.

I looked through your help file, FAQ and online questions and could not find an answer.

A: To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method.

To copy dhtml popup menu items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.

You can find this info in Tuner's help, "Main Window" sheet.
