Q: Will all your navigation bar examples work cross-frame?
A: See how should you create cross frame menu:
1. To initialize the cross frame menu call dm_initFrame()
function instead of standard dm_init() function within data.js file:
dm_initFrame(framesetID, mainFrameInd, subFrameInd, orientation);
framesetID - id attribute of the frameset;
mainFrameInd - index of the main frame (where the top-menu is placed), >=0;
subFrameInd - index of the subframe (where the submenus will be shown), >=0;
orientation - frame orientaion: 0 - top-to-bottom, 1 - left-to-right; 2 - bottom-to-top; 3 - right-to-left.
So you should create your menu in Deluxe Tuner, save it.
Create html file with your frame set.
Set ID for the first frameset:
<FRAMESET id=frmSet rows=220,*>
<FRAME id=frame1 src="Deluxe Menu Samples_files/cross-frame-horizontal-1.htm"> //menu frame

Then you should open your data file in any text editor and change
dm_init(); for example to dm_initFrame("frmSet", 0, 1, 0);

Q: I use your deluxe menu for my personal website and want to use it for a client site that we are putting together at work. However, there is one challenge. Some of the sites we build for our clients are internal only and do not have a proper domain name. In the case of my current client, the site answer to a servername call from within the network. Eg. http://WebServer1/ . They will NOT have a proper domain name (eg www.mysite.com). So, my question is, how can we purchase a license and have this work? Does your licensing need to be tied to a domain name to work? Also, the client has not yet confirmed the server name. How will this work?
A: You need to register the hostname of the website (as appears in the URL, for examplehttp://yourintranet/ , http://WebServer1/).
In you case you should register "WebServer1".

Single and Multiple Website licenses are bound to a domain name.
Developer License - this version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.
For your new client you can buy Single Website License. You can alsoupgrade to Multiple Website license for the price difference and generate your own keys for theclients or you can upgrade to Developer License.

I have made a menu, uploaded it to my HTML folder at Typepad in the correct place and tried several OTHER places too.
I have inserted the js snips into the head and body in all permutations of combinations.
I checked it each time by both opening my site and viewing source.
The menu is there. But it cannot be seen on the page. Never has been seen. Not even a hint of it being there.
I tried .js .file AND .js AND CSS.
No menu.
I checked on four browsers.
No menu.
I verified the files are in my index place by copying them to notebook.
I have done all of the above about 20 times EACH.

It is not correct. You should call dmenu.js file only once.
Please, delete the second code.

Q: Recently one of my clients apparently upgraded from Internet Explorer 6+ to 7. Along the way now apparently the javascript is no enabled.
How do I enable javascript on the new browser, and / o is there something else that I need to do in the code?
A: When your security settings in IE doesn't allow Javascript onpages you load you can't see a dynamic page content.
There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.

Deluxe Menu is a search engine friendly menu since v1.12.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
