Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">


Q: Now, I need your help in another question: I can set "tpressedFontColor" to have the font of the active item in the dhtml tree menu take this color.

How can I make the onmouseover - background ("titemBackImage" of the individual style set in the item parameters) of the menu item also be saved in the active, selected dhtml tree menu item? I need to build a menu with different background-images (shown on mouseover and when active) for each item, so I cannot set ONE "titemBackImage" that fits for all.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible now to set background color orbackground image for the selected state. Deluxe tree doesn't have sucha feature now.

But we'll try to add this feature in the next versions of Deluxe Tree.



Q: For how long our purchase does entitle us to getting the upgrades for the dhtml menu software?

A: All minor upgrades you'll get for free (for example, 2.4->2.7).
All major upgrades you'll get for free during 1 year (for example, 2.4->3.0).

For example, if there's some major upgrades (1.7 -> 2.0 -> 4.0)
you'll get them for free during one year.

But if there'll be no major upgrades during some period (2.72 -> 2.81 -> 2.92). And after 3 year, for example, there will be major upgrade to 3.0. So you can upgrade for free.

Q: One of my customers that is utilizing apycom floating navigation bar is getting a malware warning from google. Is there any chance this is caused by your scripts?

A: Actually we're using our menu on several sites and we don't have such problems.

We haven't heard about such problem with the menu from our customers too.
