A: You cannot expand items by default in Deluxe Menu. You should hoverover menu to open submenus.

You can do it using Deluxe Tree.
To expand specific items in Deluxe Tree you should add + sign beforeitem's text or set the following parameter to expand all drop down dhtml items bydefault:

  var texpanded = 1;



Q: How do I highlight the current tab in a hover tab menu?

A: This Tabs menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only.
If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem.
You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters
(  var bselectedItem and   var   var bselectedSmItem) or using any server-side script (php, asp, etc.)

Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

If your site is written on PHP you can set "bselectedItem" and "varbselectedSmItem" parameters based on your link beforeyou call your data file.

For example, move "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:

Q: Typically in order to generate a menu with multiple layers I’d put a pipe character in front of the menu text..  For example:
