Q: I am using your javascript menu over. I have had a report today that the menu is problematic with IE8. As follows:

"A bit more of a concern is in IE8 where the menu does not function correctly in general at all. When you hover over the menu text the sub menu appears, but when you move your mouse across to select an item off the sub menu it closes. "

Are you able to confirm and rectify his problem?

A: Yes, our menu has some problems with IE8, because IE8 is a betaversion and has just a part of future functionality, for exampleit still doesn't have filters.

We're planning to add the full support for IE8as well as for all major browsers.
All issues will be fixed with final version of IE8.



Q: First, i like the time I save with this program, but it isn't going to help me that much if I can't put the menu where I want it on my page.

No matter how I set the "positioning", it shows up in exactly the same place over and over. I've put it in table cells, I've given it absolute positioning... none of it matters.


A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div> or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".
Set also:

Q: I have 2 questions about this script I would like to find out before purchasing:

1. Does it support 3rd and 4th level java script navigation menu?
2. How customizable is it style-wise, meaning, I have images I want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. Any way I can achieve this?

A: 1) Yes, you can add as many levels in the java script navigation menu as you want.
