Q: Is there a way to convert a dhtml javascript tree menu I created into a Deluxe Menu using the same data so I do not have to type in all the names and links of items?

A: Actually menuItems and tmenuItems have a different structure.

We don't have such converter yet. You can try to change your menuItems in any text editor. I suppose it will be easier to convert items in editor than in Deluxe Tuner.

Q: I downloaded the new version of dhtml menu source code copied the files over to my folder this menu was made with3.0 the files I copied over is 3.2 and now I get an error.

A: Now you have:

  var fontStyle=["nirmal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma","nirmal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma"];

It is not correct. You should write:

  var fontStyle=["normal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma","normal 12px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma"];



Q: Using the new version with unmodified menus results in a new frame menu indentation (the left border of the first javascript folding menu entries submenu in a frame menu setup is not aligned with its main menu entry (both in IE 6 and FF 1.5 / Linux)) - possibly we might need to arrange something?

A: I suppose that this is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.

space=0;

Try that.



Q: I would like, that not only the text is represented differently when dhtml nav menu item is expanded, also the Icon separates before it at the side where I am.

iconarrs.gif is not right
iconarrs_aktiv.gif is right

How do I solve that?

A: You should set arrow for expanded state
