Q: I wonder if you can help me. I've uploaded all my files, including the menus to the client site.
All the menus were working fine, where each link was targeted to the frame "mainFrame" in the middle of the page. This morning, all the css javascript menu link targets don't work anymore. That is, the targeting info has not changed but the linked pages are opening up as a _parent page -- that is, replacing the entire page.
A: You should use absolute paths.
See the url browser tried to open:
http://domain.com/a_bp/bpdoc/3sell/32_sales_order_management/321_sales_order/
7operations/72_monitor_operations/index.html
instead of:
http://domain.com/7operations/72_monitor_operations/index.html
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameter allows to make links paths absolute.
For example:
var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];
So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html
Please, try to use this parameter.
Q: I'm trying to figure out how I can tie in this code loan_profile.asp?id= into the link on the tree menu, for example:
["|Loan Profile", "../pipeline/loan_profile.asp?id=<%=rsLoans("loan_id")%>", "", "", "", "", "", "2"],
When I try this and then test it in the browser the menu doesn't even show up and it says that there's an error... what can I do to fix this? Please get back ASAP. Thanks!

Q: I would like to know does deluxe menu support Unicode characters? I have enter some Chinese texts through deluxe tuner and I can preview those Chinese text in deluxe tuner preview panel. I have chose "use utf8 encode"already. However after I saved the .js file, the js file encode become ANSI and those Chinese texts in the js file become ?????. Can deluxe tuner autosave the file to UTF8 encode?
A: Please, check that you've set "Tools/Use utf8 encode".
When you save your data file in UTF8 you should use the same encoding on our html page.
So you should write:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.
Q: Please kindly help to this problem, in my pass few weeksI'm using my deluxe menu and I can type arabic text there, but now its seems that the software is not recognizing the arabic text, from my screenshot you can understand that it shows a different symbols although im typing arabic font.
Now I couldnt type arabic font and I have existing projects website and need to edit it again but I can't coz my software is not recognizing the arabic text.
A: Unfortunately, you can't use arabic characters in Deluxe Tuner application.
You should manually correct your code.
And after you create your menu you can open your data file (created inDeluxe Tuner) in any text editor (click F4 on this file) and add your text parameter, forexample:

...You should enter text to "Home", "Product Info", "|Features","|Installation","||Description of Files" fields in the text editor.Try that.
