  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! A: See you cannot create subitems in
  var tabMode=0;
it is not correct.

You should set
  var tabMode=1;

The following parameters set the pressed items for top items andsubitems:

  var bselectedItem=0; //top items
  var bselectedSmItem=2; //subitems

where 0,1,2... is the index of the item in bmenuItems.

- delete   var bselectedItem=1; and   var bselectedSmItem=2; parameters from your data file
- set correct parameters on each page before you call data file, forexample:

Q: Go to the "products", then to "Furnaces" or "Humidifiers". Seethe sub menu js items ending with "0"? See how they seem to be cut off on the very far right edge?

A: This is a feature of Firefox 3.0.3.

You'll have such effect if you'll use Trebuchet MS font andtransparency for submenus.

Try to use another font, or set
  var transparency="100";

Q: I am still struggling with multiple menus on one page.
It is probably something I am doing wrong, but I cannot see it.


A: Now you have:

  var absolutePos=1;
  var posX="10";
  var posY="10";


So, both of your menus have the same absolute position.

You can use relative position and place your menu inside <table>. In this case you should write so:

  var absolutePos=0;
