Q: I have setup some tabs on a site that I am designing and for some reason when i click on a tab and it links to another page it automatically highlights the first tab in the row.
  I have triedfiddling with it and have not been able to figure it out.  Can someone point me in the right direction to have the correct tab selected in the css tab menu after i click it and goto the page.


A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

Q: Can you send me the full detail how would I use your navigation bar generator for web site development?

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.

When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New" and add items
and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" on the main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.

So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images
("deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), deluxe-menu.html file and
data-deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.

Open deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows of
code into your page (for example index.html page of your website).

Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

Q: Can a drop down menu go over a Flash and be transparent?Let me know.

A: Yes, it is possible.
To set transparence for submenus you should set the followingparameter:

  var transparency="70";



Q: I’m currently testing your product and using the tabs.  My question is that not all my javascript html tabs point to the same target, I tried doing your suggestion on your FAQ but when I do that the tabs do not even display, here is my code

I know the break down is as follows

A: See, you can use links if you have
  var tabMode=1;
only.

If you have
  var tabMode=0;

You should use the ID of the DIV.

Unfortunately, you cannot set target parameter for each item.
bmenuItems has the following structure:

  var bmenuItems = [

];

But you can try to open your pages using different targets in thefollowing way

Where frameName - the name of the frame where to open the page test.html.

Using this method you can create Deluxe Tabs in  var tabMode=0; and   var tabMode=1;
