There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.



Q: Is there a way to center floatable menus horizontally on a page?
I used to use absolutePos=0, and all of my menus were centered ok, but when I tried floatable=1 I found that I had to change toabsolutePos=1 to get the menu to float, and this messed up my centering. Since I have multiple menus of different widths, I'd rather not have to hard-code the menu width, but please let me know if there's a better way.


A: Notice, when you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.


Q: Now it works fine in Firefox and mostly in IE.... Only problem... In IE...

When the page with dhtml tab menu first loads ... It does not load the content of the first DIV....
It's fine in Firefox...now IE just does not load the first div... I've tried added a JS function to set to visible the first DIV onLoad...but that does not work either...

Is there anyway to hard-code in ...to set the first DIV to visible?

A: I've just checked your website. Your dhtml tab menu work correctly.

You should check that you use correct value of
  var bselectedItem=1;
parameter.

That is mean that second item in menuItems array will be highlighted.

Q: I am in the process of setting up a new html menu bar, but seem to be having trouble getting it to work via Internet Explorer 8.0.

Instead of making drop-downs, it only makes little symbols. However, it works fine via Firefox.

A: Try to use v3.3. It is compatible with IE8.
