Q: I have tried to use the Deluxe tuner menu in one of the websites I am trying to create however, the menu gives an error. I have created the menu multiple times but everytime it comes up with the same error. I have attached the entire web page file with this mail. Can you please go through this and help me fix the errors.


A: Now you have  var itemBorderWidth="";  var menuBorderWidth="";

It is not correct. You should set values for these parameters.

  var menuBorderWidth="0";  var itemBorderWidth="0";


Q: I cannot find the parameter in deluxe tabs file "data.js" for umlaute a, u. I want it to set manually.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.2.9.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example

Q: The plus symbols (+) for Home, PRODUCT CATALOG, and Back are almost non visible and I can not find a parameter to move the collapsible tree menu to the right or to put a border on the left side.


A: You set the following style:

You should delete

Q: Hi, I am testing your menu system for my company and would like to know how to keep the menu in the centre of the page like <centre></centre>.
I know how to do it without a floating menu but cannot work out how to do this with it floating.


A: When you use floatable menu you can't use relative menu position.
So, if you use

  var absolutePos = 0;

and to center the menu you use <p> or <div> with the center alignment your menu won't float.
To center your floatable menu you should set absolute coordinates.
